On the dozenth episode of Full Metal Hipster I spoke to Chris Pandolfo (@CloudsCollide), the guy behind blackgaze act Clouds Collide, about his stunning new album All Things Shinning. I also blabbered about some good shows I've gone to recently.

Oh, hi there folks! Thanks for checking out episode 11 of Full Metal Hipster. This episode I speak with Ed (@ourcityburning) from the Black Metal of the Americas zine. He's a swell guy. You might notice that it periodically sounds like we're interuppting each other or waiting too long to reply to seemingly simple questions. I assure you neither scenario is the case. The software I use to record Skype calls blows and messes up the audio syncing. Hopefully I've got the problem remedied for future episodes, though. Never mind all that, though. You came for the music and chatter, so let's get started!

On the HISTORIC tenth episode of the Full Metal Hipster podcast, I spoke with Vic and KW of Vile Creature (@VileCreature666). The duo are a self-described anti-oppressive, queer, vegan doom band Canada that recently released their debut album A Steady Descent Into the Soil. We chatted at legth about music, learning to play drums in six months, and why social justice is awesome. I hope you enjoy it!

On this episode of the Full Metal Hipster podcast, blogger Nathan Sizemore joins me to talk about his new project Xtapolapometal. Xtapolapometal is a new blog that focuses on the intersection of The Simpsons and the heavy metal community. Check it out tight here: http://xtapolapometal.tumblr.com/. You'll also hear a couple tracks from the Australian, Simpsons-themed, stoner doom metal band Dr. Collossus. Enjoy!

Episode 8 of Full Metal Hipster is finally here, babies! I've been cranking these out for two months and I'm still having a great time. Hopefully I sound less like a stumblebum doofus than I did in the first episode. This time around, I spoke to Justin Lascelle of the horror movie themed thrash band Axeslasher. If you haven't heard Axeslasher before then get your ass over to Bandcamp and download their debut EP Anthology of Terror Vol. 1. Justin's a cool cuccumber and I really had fun recording this interview. You better enjoy it if you know what's good for you!

I threw together an epsode centering around an interview I did with Jeri Yoshizu, the promotion manager for Scion A/V. The interview was for an article I wrote back in 2014 about the company's efforts in promoting underrground music. It was published by New Noise Magazine and you can read it here if you're interested. In this episode, I also play music from Human Bodies, Cape of Bats, and a track from Old Thunder's new release Sonata Tenebrae.
